plow mount bolts

plow mount bolts
trying to take stock bolts off at foot rest on each side to mount the plow but the nuts are turning with the bolts and I can't get up inside the drain hole in the steel tubing to put a wrench on the nuts. I've tried jamming screw drivers and such thru the tiny drain holes to try to wedge the nuts steady but no luck. Any ideas? Thanks. (10" snow coming tonite!)

plow mount bolts
I had the plow mount that slips between the foot rest and the frame and I did not like it. The one I have now bolts to the frame with 2 u-bolts near the foot rests. It is much easier to remove during the summer when I don't want it hanging down and getting bent.
If the bolts have broken loose you may need to cut the bolt, then drill or file out the drain hole larger so the nut can be removed. Then replace with the appropriate sized nut and bolt.
If you have a welder you might try tack welding the nut back in place and then try to remove the bolt.
That is about it.
