Default AC 300 2x4 wiring question --

Between the reverse and neutral shft levers, there is a wiring lead with many cabels, a sqaure plug and a single round plug... WHERE does the sqaure plug go? I tore mine down, replaced the transaxle/lower end, and i can NOT find a matching receptical... the ONE piece of the wiring harness I forget, and it's IMPROTANT!!

i know, i am dumb, but please take a look and if you could post or email a picture or two?

Default AC 300 2x4 wiring question --

There are some plugs on the wiring harness that are for accessories like a winch, cooling fan etc. If it has a bunch of dirt and dust in it I would guess it was not used.

If yo have a wiring diagram you may be able to track it down I will look tonight in my shop amnual the wiring diagram and see if I can find anything for you.

If my memory is correct the winch thumb rocker switch plugs in and then has a single round one as well that goes to the selenoid. (it has been a while since I wired one in though)

thanks SJ -- that lead me to the fix..
from the NEW part, it looked like it was connected, from the old one, it didn't.. but the new one had torn off the single inportant lead,

- the CRITICAL part is the gear position shifter, and it's a single ball end snap .. the other is a testing point ... i got it running!
so, basically, a new engine and trans .. and TONS of power and compression!

will rebuild the carb saturday
