Default AC 700 efi 2006

I have a 06 AC 700 I just put a new 18 amp battery in and I use a battery tender however my digital display sometimes will go blank and flash volt. Anyone know what could be the problem??? Also I do alot of snowplowing with it and find that the reverse overide button (or rev limiter) is a pain to use is ther a way to disconnect it????

just wondering why you use a batery tender? was it loosing voltage without it on? if so something is draining it.a short? handwarmers left on?check your voltage at the batery next time.i run mine check the votage right after i shut it off and its about 13.2v the next daybefore starting it its about 12.7v but then agian its about 20 deg out to.it should never drop below 12.5v

I use a tender all winter. I would check your cables, connections, and worse case is your charging system.

arcticzl2002- you use a battery tender because with the digital display, the clock stays on. So if you dont ride all the time to keep the battery charged then a tender is a must have so your battery will not die(due to the clock staying on) , last longer and work properly. I too use a tender due to the fact i may only get a chance to ride every couple months in the summer because i travel for work and am not home in the summer.
