300 carb problems
The wife and I have a pair of 2001 300 4x4s that we bought new and are having carb problems. They have always been very cold blooded, hard starting, but ran OK when warm. When I got them out this year both carbs were very gummed up with a green glue like substance and after cleaning still don't run well at all. I may have forgotten to put gas stabilizer in them but that's very unlike me. I think I may have put ethanol in them without knowing it. As I said they have always have been a problem and I was thinking that the 2002's went to Mikuni's. Have anyone here made the swap and how did it work for you?

works fine.. throttle cable is on the "other" side than stock.. i'd be interested in buying your old cables..
but, well.. here's what you do.. pull the choke cable and primer/choke, it will be a PITA to get out, but it WILL pull straight out, and clean that giant plunger and the area is sits in.. that might help
if you decide to go the swap, i might could be talked into buying your old ones
