hey guys I just bought a arctic cat 650 H1 2007. I was reading around on here about clutch kits and i was wondering if they make a difference, if so is it on top end , low end or what. I found one for about $125 is it worth it? I was wondering too is it hard to install these kits? I also have a KnN filter coming on the way. thanks.

i have bought a clutch kit for my 700 that i have not gotten installed yet. Its from speedwerx. Alli t is is a stiffer spring and new rollers. The kit depends on your elevation. Yes they help with mostly the low/mid end. they are really handy for larger tires as they help the wear and tear on the belt. They are also good for throttle response, a little quicker i guess. You may get one and not notice anything but it is helping your belt last longer. Installing one may be hard to do, i tried on mine but i do not have the tool needed so i will have mine installed for $100.00.

Like i said ,i have bought one I just haven't got installed yet, but im turning 28" swamplites right now and when i took it to wyoming in 14" of snow the bike did great without it but will deffinatly be better when i get it installed. My friend lives out there and he said his polaris dealer puts clutch kits in as soon as he recieves a new bike due to the elavation and to help with the life of the belt.
Titleist, have you seen anything about cdi boxes? I want one for my 700.
