I keep putting in headlight bulbs but after I drive around for a little while they break. Any ideas why they keep shattering thanks.

Never heard of anyone having problem's breaking/shadering headlamp bulb's on any brand of quad , but my cousin had 2 Suzuki's that he had trouble blowing the bulb element's ; the first one was a 1989 Suzuki LT4WD 250 QuadRunner and the second one was a 1993 Suzuki LT4WD 300 King Quad !

As soon as he would replace one bulb the other side would blow within a couple week's or less , i finally found that he wasn't using Dielectric grease on the bulb's and bulb socket's ; after i used the dielectric grease the problem ended but i never heard of the bulb's breaking or shadering .

Maybe someone will jump in and give you a better answer than i can , sorry i can't help you on this one ; but welcome to the forums !........

Never had this problem on an Atv but had it happen in my truck. Once of my bulbs broke and glass and metal was everywhere within the socket. i wasnt able to get it all out and eventually the loose debris bounsing around in the socket would cause the new bulbs to break. Are you sure you have removed all of the glass / metal that is in your light housing?

I was getting a bit of water in the headlights causing the bubs to shatter. I finally sealed up the stock headlights and mounted 5" sealed beam units to the front rack.

I had an issue with mine when I got it and the mechanic put a dab of silicone on the bulb where it twisted into the light because they kept twisting out. It worked and I haven't had a problem since
