I notice a big gain in power with the kit. I'm about 280 lbs, and after putting the kit on, my cat will pull the front end up without leaning back, or even trying to pull it up. I still have some more work to do, and I think it will even get better. I HIGHLY recommend buying this kit!

 

It may still be something to look into when my income tax comes in. We'll wait and see. I'm still holding out for a needle to come out for the AC manual.

 

Does the Suzuki 500 have the same carb as the AC? Maybe you can get one for the suzi.

 

On our models it is the same, but with a different compression ratio and who knows what, there is not telling if it will work. I know I'm not gonna spend the 50 bucks for a chance that it MIGHT work, willl you??

 

No, I wouldn't chance it. I would call the dealer, and I did. The '99 Suzi500 has a different carb and jet needle than the '99 AC500. It was worth a shot anyway....

 

Acorroding to Suzuki's ONLINE specs and my Service manual they are the same model, but it might be a typo. Also could be the same model with different opptions, or a dealer with no idea.
