Default Spark Arrester

I have two Arctic cat atv's one is an 2007 400 4x4 manual and the other is a 2008 650 H1 4x4 auto. I tried to remove the spark arrester to clean them and the bolts wont come out. I tried so hard on one that I broke it. Has anybody else had this problem? if so can you tell me what you did to remove the bolts? The bolt started coming out OK then it got real tight and then it broke. I dont know what to do. I dont want to put it in the shop just to get the spark arrester cleaned. The owners manual was no help it says just unbolt, clean with a brush and reinstall.

I let my TRV idle for about 2 min to let everything expand & loosen up a bit from the heat. I've cleaned the arrestor twice, and re-installed with a dab anti-seize lube. Then I tighten them about 1/4 turn past snug.

When the bolt get tight while removing hit it w/wd40 and screw back-in then "work-it" back & forth and try again.

Works for me.
