2004 400 TBX. Spark comes and goes, good and strong when it is there. Have checked ignition coil and trigger and source coil and they are all within specs. Plugged in a known good CDI and has the same problem. Connections all are good. Any ideas on what I should check next? Thanks, TORK.

 

Determined it must be the stator but he traded it off instead of fixing it. He wanted a 700EFI anyway so I think this gave him the excuse to trade. TORK.

 

TORK, I was going to suggest the stator as I just fixed a Made in China machine with similar issues and the stator was fried.

Guess its not his problem anymore though.
