Diesel are much slower than a gas model but have much more torque. There preferred by hard core Utility type people that want torque at a low RPM.

Polaris made one awhile back, they did not sell all that great.

yup, im familiar with diesels from trucks. So figured that they were same for quads. Alot of torque. I always thought it'd make a awesome big time mudder. lots of low end power to churn some big tires. Ive heard of the polaris one before also

A diesel would be a great Mud machine, also a good long range touring ATV because it would get much more miles per gallon I would imagine.

I have a buddy who has on and uses it for plowing and ranch work! I could never see using one as a play quad as they are very slow, maybe with a small turbo they might be a little fun but that is a big maybe LOL

Great for the hundreds of mile trails up here in Northern Ontario, there to rugget, thin and twisty to go any faster then 30 mph anyways.

After making mods to get more speed, fuel economy is thrown out window. Buy a gas machine........"Just Saying"
