Default 450 550 or 650 H1?

im looking for a new 4x4 and am thinking of getting my 1st arctic cat. from what im seeing on the air resource board there is not much horsepower difference between them, but as long as the 650 has a lot more torque then its ok. has anyone ridden 2 opf them or all 3? how will they compare to a 07 sportsman 500? thanks

The 450 would be a down grade, count that out .the 550 and 650 would be my choices.

the 550 should be close to the 500 sportsman in power. the 650 will have quite a bit more then the sportsman.

Actually the 450 will be about what the 500 sportsman was. The 550 is about the same as the Polaris 550 xp. The 650 is not much more powerful than the 550 but is carberated so can probably be had for less $$$. I would go for the 450 though. Great motor! You wont be disappointed.

The 450 is the 500 Suzuki Vinson motor with a smaller 84mm bore ,no way its close to the Polaris 500. The 500 Vinson is not quite there.2007 Suzuki Vinson® 500 4x4 Semi-Auto ATVs

Wrong! The 450, 550, 650, 700 and 950 twin are all being built in St. Cloud! All pure cat motors. No longer use Suzuki engines in there ATV's Last one they did use was last years 500 which is now discontinued.

i guess i have never driven the 550 before but i have taken my 650 with big tires against the 500 ho polaris and from what i understand the 650 h1 has a lil more torque then the 650 v2 like i have and the power difference was quite noticeable. and tlc i really wouldn't look at any comparison reviews by any magazines as it seems like you get the same conclusion as if you ask people on this forum, people are very biased and you can only believe yourself and i say test drive any atv you are interested in.
