Has anyone had luck repairing the rear master cylinder or should I just replace it.

 

I am pretty sure they do not make rebuild kits for the master cylinders that AC uses. I am assuming your machine is new enough that it is the one with a master cylinder for the rear foot brake? as well as the front hand brake?

I am not sure if you have looked for it but there was a posting on here from someone who had lots of issues with the master cylinders and he converted it over to a master cylinder off a street bike. Which he could get a rebuild kit for if he needed it.

Try searching this site for it. Also, check around for a replacement. If I remember right they are pretty spendy but if I was going to spend the $ I may look at converting it to one that can be rebuilt. Especially if it is about the same amount of $
