The other day had the bike runing at a idol. then it just died on me. went to restart it with the start botton and notthing happen. I pull start it and started right up. turn it back off same thing. when the bike is runing all the light are very dime and the fan is not runing. i checke the batter and it has about 14 volt. all fuses are fine. what have went wrong on my bike for this to happen.

 

Possibly the starter or starter solenoid!! See if your getting voltage to the starter when you hit the starter button if you are then chances are starter is bad if your not getting any voltage to the starter then it is likely something else!!

 

ok i will check that. with the starter or starter solenoid going out would that make the lights and the fan to stop working. the bike has no electeic power to any thing. but when pull started very little.
