Hey everyone I am new to this forum and also new to four wheelin. I traded for a 01 300 4x4 and this thing is a tank I love it. But it didn't have headlights so I bought the warn aftermarket light kit and hooked them up, started the bike hit the switch and instead of turning on the lights it killed the motor?? So I thought it best to disconnect everything I had done and take it too my buddy who could figure out the light problem. Well I started it to pull into the garage and now it runs doggie. I spits and sputters and when you give it gas it dont even want to rev up and when it does it back fires? Has any one got a clue as to what the heck could be going on with this thing? It ran pefrect until I decided to put lights on it? My wife tells me to leave it alone but the kit was fool proof I thought two lights two wires hook up and go? I guess not. Any help would be greatly apprechiated. THANKS IN ADVANCE GUYS.....

 

I would pull the carb and clean, rebuild it. How long has it been since it has been done? How long has it set without running? Also probably needs the valves adjusted.
