Have you checked the rubber boot from the airbox to your throttle body ?

your throttle positioning sensor might need to be adjusted, mine does it from time to time if i dont let it idle enough before driving it. and only lasts until motor is fully warmed up then it doesn't happen again. does yours backfire and kinda run like crap when you are out driving around or just when you first start it?

thnx weez440 sounds like the same prob, has yours just stalled when idling without touching the throttle? mine only seems to actup when i first start it. I love the quad besides all the problems i've had. my front dif split open, was blowen fan fuses most of the time i went in water, faulty reverse overide, had no headlights because of a pinched wire and had to replace my front u-joints and front yoke goin into the dif. I only have 1200 miles on it and i don,t thrash it eather

mine too needed the TPS adjusted. Although if you start the bike and jump on and go without it warming up,it will sometimes die. Blowing a fuse will happen when going into water if your fan is already on. As far as the u joints go i had replaced mine twice as well. each time was with only 500 miles on them. ive got 1200 miles now. I replaced them with u joints from o'reillys auto parts and come with grease zerks and a way better seal on them. only have 200 miles on them so dont really know if they are better, thats what ive heard. I cant remember the part number. I think i posted it on here somewhere. 295 or something like that comes to mind.
