Actually yes it is flat out wrong and you are as well no stock thundercat has had any different diff then 3.1 and definitely not 4.0s....thundercat with 4.0s would last all of 15 mins and either the diffs would blow or the person driving it would have flipped it over backwards. Might want to research before you post

 

My mistake...I meant to say the Mud Pro had 4.0 gears originally...and because I was considering installing 4.0 gears in my 650TRV, I actually did research the topic before I posted (and was surprised to learn that AC actually did change the ratios with a "newer, stronger" axles)...I just confused the two names in my response.

Seeing that the title states mudpro 1000 or thundercat i just dont understand why you would bring up 4.0s at all...Only the 2009-2010 mudpro 700 has 4.0s. The reason cat changed back to 3.1s is because they cannot keep any kind of power or larger wheels from destroying 4.0s.


Dont drink coffee actually just dont like being called out for something i was 100 percent correct about.
