Default limp mode 09 700 efi artic cat

hi everyone
looking for some help with my 09 cat.EFI
having trouble with it going into limp mode
first trip out about 2 hours into our run bike decides to go into limp mode ..
drove for a little while but not getting any better .after stopping for a while started away again same problem.stopped backed up 10' or so put back in forward and voila working great..next morning same thing backed up a little and worked great.the next week it turned a little cold bang throttle cable froze bike would not start..
pulled into heated garage a few min later cable became thawed out bike started fine as kind.decided at that point to take it to the dealer replaced cable .they said shift rod was out of adjustment adjusted it with no codes on the scanner thay said everything looked good.well got it home started it next morning started fine went to drive away and bang back into limp mode again..errrr,,,this time the backing up did not work.shut it down waited about 1/2 hour tried again worked fine..and it also did the same the next day getting very annoyed at this time..the following day tried to start it. it rolled over and over without a kick, then I noticed that the bike was in reverse reached over pulled in the hand brake touched the starter button and it started right up..so my question to you is..what the hell is it..for starter i did not think the bike would even roll over when it was in gear without the brake engaged. could it be the neutral switch . or the gear position sensor not allowing the computer to know what gear it is in. in result putting it into limp mode .or is it something like the belt sensor or Im stumped...the bike still has warranty but its a 1 1/2 hour drive to take it there and would like to have as much information on what could be causing the problem so they can order parts and have them on hand for when I take it so the can fix it while I wait..last trip took a week before they had it fixed and that was only a throttle cable that had to be ordered..
thanks in advance for any advice you can throw my way

I would check the tps sensor you can buy the ecu error plug i think around ten dollors from arctic cat dealer. when you plug in ecu error plug the tps line on gauge should be in the middle if not need to adjust tps. after that if it keeps doing it you will probley need a new throttle position sensor.
