Default 1999 Artic Cat 300: brake lever on right handle...

I would like to convert the manual brake foot pedal to a handle barred brake handle on the right handle bar handle--has anyone ever done this?

Welcome to the forum itr674

If your 300 has the manual drum brake you can add a second cable to the right handle bar , but if your 300 cat doesn't have the right hand lever you will have to add one ; the 1988 Suzuki 4wd 250 Quad Runner's and the 1993 and earlier model Suzuki 4wd 300 KQ's had both the foot brake and right handle bar lever for the manual rear drum type brake's !

Your 1999 AC 300's engine and tranny are crate engine/tranny made by Suzuki for Arctic Cat , so it should be doable and i hope this has been of help , and good luck !
