Default vavoline atv oil

thinking about using vavoline atv oil at next oil change?

any praises or complaints?

also any difference between the atv and motorcycle oil. looking at grades and label they look the same. the motorcycle oil is more available around where i live than the atv oil.

Motorcycle grade oils are all made for wet clutches and is fine. Since ATVs take only a few quarts of oil I stick with Full Synthetic.

Goggle "Synthetic vs Conventional oil" Synthetic is superior in every way but price.

I have been using the Valvoline ATV oil for about 5-6 years now. I have found I get a better price buying in bulk. I believe it costs me around $4 a quart. I also use Wix filters instead of the AC expensive ones. I have put close to 5000 miles on each of my machines with Valvoline ATV oil and no issues so far.

In fact the black Valvoline oil container looks very similar if not exactly the same as the regular 10w-40 Arctic Cat oil with a differnt label and costs about $2 more per quart.

I have been using Valvoline Motorcyce oil in my ATV's since the 80's, never had an engine or clutch problem.

SWAMPY!!!! How you doing old pal!

On the oil, I use the valvoline stuff in my old Honda as that burns oil, in my Arctic Cat I am an Amsoil guy and Wix filter. Changing oil ever 500 miles. In the Honda I really don't change the oil as I have to add a 1/2 quart every year or so.

I've been using Valvoline Motorcycle oil in my bike for 5 years. I've also used it in my ATV. I can't see how it would be any different than their ATV oil. I like the it is readily available at Advance Auto Parts.

i used valvoline motorcycle oil for years and never had any problems. o do not see why their atv oil is any different. been thinking about using it in my atv's. but i get the arctic cat oil cheap from a friend.
