Hi, I was wondering if it is ok to grease the tie rod, what I did is I used a needle tip for the grease gun and was abble to get it insides and I filled it with vavoline syn grease. I then squeezed some out so the rubber boot still had some play in it. The reason i did this is that they seemed a little dry and figured since suzuki was cheap on the grease every where else I might as well grease it.
P.S it is a 03 Z400 http://216.37.204.202/Suzuki_OEM/Suz...=13&A=112&B=44

Well your dammed if you do and dammed if you don't.
Now that you have... you will have to pump grease in them every ride.
The joints are greased for life. Unless you tear open a boot, you never need to grease them. You will break them soon enough.

Why will I have to grease them for life? I did not rip or poke a hole in the boot I was able to use a needle greaser and pull the top of the boot away and stuff it in there, after I was done it went right back in to place
