2013 450 EFI problem.
#1
Hello everyone. I am brand new to both this forum and ATVing so please forgive my ignorance as to what to expect from my ATV. I just bought a new 2013 450 EFI and I seem to have a hard time shifting it. As I am sure you know this model has the CVT set-up. If I come to a complete stop I either have to rock the machine or use the throttle to advance (or reverse) in order to shift gears from forward to reverse etc. If I am still moving, it shifts fine but this can't be good for the machine. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal with a CVT. I still have 4 months of warranty left so need to get it looked at sooner then later if there is a problem. Incidentally, it only has less then 4 kilometers on it so it is virtually brand new. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like maybe idling to high may have to take back an see if they can reset ecm.Of coarse you know when cold crank up enrichment value has to release after temp get were it should be to idle back down to operate atv.
