Default Arctic Cat with painted calipers

Had the wheels off the other day, and got an idea: Paint the calipers. Too much? Haha, Wrong color? Too Ricey?

Nah...anything that make's it "yours" is never too much!! Just ask Mr. Max

Probably won't last very long but certainly won't hurt anything other than to look cool.

If Mr Max is the Yamaha bike, sweet! The orange was left over from painting the calipers on my Dodge Magnum, it's caliper paint, and I wire brushed the hell out of em before spraying... Pretty sure it's the only Arctic Cat Diesel with Hemi Orange calipers, haha. Stickers can't be far behind....

As soon as I did it, an elephant with painted toe nails flashed thru my mind, haha.

Yeah...it's a Yamaha Vmax...I powder coat, so what you see on there will last the life of the machine...caliper paint is good stuff...better if you bake it on...

Yes, it was barely above freezing when I sprayed, I'll have to drive with the brakes on for a couple miles to heat em up. Waiting for "Global Warming is getting old. I say, if you believe that BS, check how many gallons of fuel oil or propane you used in your house 10 or 20 years ago compared to this winter. You thought winter was over, not here.

Never knew they made "caliper paint" learn something new everyday.. now if I can just remember this tomorrow!
