You need to give more info. It has a wet clutch that requires that the motor oil has no friction modifiers. Wrong oil can make the clutch slip. If it won't go into all the gears, it could be a bent shifting fork. Download a parts manual from <mymowerparts.com> . I suppose if someone mashed the foot shifter too hard, it could bend a shift fork.
