Default Erratic Steering

I have a customer steering complaint on his 2004 TRV500 4x4. Steering is VERY light and oscillates back and forth. Sometimes it will over steer to the point were it will almost toss rider. I noticed inside of wheel rim is rubbing on tie rod. Pressure good, did alignment All ball joints and bearings good. I hear some electrical noise going on and off, like the 4x4 solenoid is trying to engage. I don't think this feature is working. Thanks

Check with a dealer, there was a recall on some of the actuators. I have a 2008 AC 700 Diesel, I bought second hand last year. Mine worked fine, but I had the dealer do the recall anyway. I would think if it comes on in a corner unexpectedly, it would be a handful. Unlike some other makes, when you lock in the front differential, it really locks up. You, also should only drive 10 mph with it locked. I've only used it plowing very heavy snow, when it's locked, it's like a bulldozer.
