2013 500 4x4 constantly trying to go in and out of 4wd

Default 2013 500 4x4 constantly trying to go in and out of 4wd
goes in and out of 4wd on its own and the 4wd light flashes, not even trying to put it in 4wd just does it on its own, what should i look into?

i would look at the actuator for signs of water getting inside
