Hi All,

Brand new to the forum, reason being my 15 year old son bought an 06 dvx 400 last night from a 10 year older then him kid. After doing some research I think maybe we should have passed but oh well, he may need to learn the hard way on some of these things like all the rest of us have. First big thing I see is that the reverse mechanism has been removed. The switch and cable appear to be still available, but I cannot figure out where it attaches on the transmission. Secondly, did these machines come with a cluster that had three lights on it? This one appears to have the oil light relocated but there is a lack of other lights mentioned in the online service manual I found. Gets me thinking maybe it isn't and 06? Any help from past or current owners is greatly appreciated. This is our first true sport quad, but we arent new to wheelers by any means. Thanks in advance for any help, and I apologize if Im breaking any forum rules.
