Dude... Primary is the front clutch..The arrow on the belt needs to point forward. Looking at the CVT the clutch's spin clockwise...

Wet clutch might make a grinding noise if it where fubar'd. But not a sqweel. The belt squeals.
You need to put the idea that the wet clutch is bad on the back burner until you verify that the belt is the correct belt and installed correctly.
If the wet clutch were bad it would slip in low and high.

This is out of my service manual. That is why I have the arrow pointing toward the rear of the machine. Thanks for the info about the wet clutch. I'll keep eliminating things. I'll check the belt, and replace the rollers and hope.

This is from page 63 of your service manual. It's a standard to put the arrow facing in the direction of rotation.

But in reality it really doesn't matter. The arrow is used as a reference for when you reinstall it after removing it. Regardless, your service manual is contradictory

My buddy came over last night and helped me watch the belt with the cover of so I knew exactly what was happening. It's slipping in the primary. We took it off and looked at the rollers and they are more beat up with more flat spots than I realized. I have rollers ordered, should be here by Friday. I'm hoping that's the problem.

Good catch irt rechecking the rollers. I don't think that will solve your issue though. Keep us informed on your progress.

I think while I am this far, I'm going to remove the one way bearing also.
