Just picked up a 07 arctic cat 650. Runs great. The reverse override doesn’t work. Not really my concern but when in high or low. It seems like the belt or clutch is slipping. I took the cover off and there was a good amount of black residue. Cleaned the clutchs and cover best i could. Still doing it. Once it gets to about half throttle it picks up and goes. Need to keep it high in the rpms to keep it moving. Ive changed belts before but not to familar with secondary or primary clutches. The secondary clutch clicks when i turn it. Not sure if its suppsoed to do that. The belt also seems pretty tight. Cant turn it with my hand just by the clutch. Any ideas?

 

I'm pretty sure that reverse over-ride only works when your in 4wd.
