I have an ac 400 2wd manual that will not crank without a jumper wire to the starter. New battery and solenoid on it today. Any ideas what may be causing this the starter spins with a jumper so I have currently ruled out the starter. Could possibly be a bad solenoid even though it is new. Anything I’m missing.

 

I fixed the recoil starter so I don’t have to keep running a jumper. I can’t get this quad to start. Fresh fuel new plug cleaned the air box and filter. Will not hit.
