I shift on the fly as well but be careful going fron high to low,I just let it roll to a snails pace.As for 2/4 just cut the gas for a split sec,and push or pull,no problem at all.DO NOT PUT INTO 4WD WITH REAR TIRES SPINNING-BAD.

well...stopped by the dealer today no new info besides the info he gave me last time. they are gonna have a convention in New Orleans in 2 weeks so the dealers can place their orders, after that he will fil me in on everything. but i can only give u SOME info cause he needs to sell his 00 and 01 machines. but he will have the specs and stuff on mainly the 500s and 400s machines and some on the others.

ill report back in 2 weeks...in the mean time other people post what they have found out aboout it.

Arctic Cat web-site says it will release the 2002 ATV line-up in mid-June!

I was going to ask about CV protectors. I have 500 miles on my cat so far and Im still using the stock protectors. What is the best kind to get. Thanks for any help

Sorry me again. When I shift mine into low range it drops right into place, but when I shift into high its hard to get it to go in, sometimes I have to put it in gear and then it goes in right away. The dealer said it needs to break-in but I already have 500 miles on it and its still doing this

Well thats about as good as the shifting is gonna get. I have mine open up and I was looking at the high to low gears and the gear that swaps from high to low. It is only a gear with 4 huge teeth that hooks to the inside of the back side of each gear that decides between high and low. Thats why it's so hard to get them to shift straight from high to low with out rocking it or putting it in gear like you do.

Sometimes if the idle is a little to high it's harder to operate.

Well, i showed the dealer (AC/Pol dealer) pictures/specs of the new 660 grizzly and he was like "Dayum." and then when i told him it weighed under 600 lbs....he said a little more than damn.

he told me they are havin the metin to dicuss the order arrangements for the 02 cats and they will reciever spces and stuff about it. he said that he will also take pics of them to show me. He said to come back sometime next week and he will give me FULL detail/pics/specs about the new cats.

Looks liek ill have to pay him a visit next week [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

and since i have my digital camera back...ill take pics of the pics of the cat and post them in a new post in the AC forum.

i doubt it will compete with the 660 grizz but from what the dealer has told me so far...it will stomp the SP 500. from being lighter and more RELIABLE!!!!!!!!! than the SP 500

Well...i got a call from the AC dealer and he said to come over whenever i would like.....HE HAS ALL THE INFO ON THE ACs...wieght, size, features, price, colors, new models....EVERTHING. i am gona brong my digital camera to get some pics and post them up here i na diff post.

i should have pics later tomorrow.
