I keep waiting to see the new Cats. I will be buying my first ATV soon. Been waiting for all the 02's to come out.Had decided on a 500 manual, but if the 02's have IRS and lighter, that would be great. Sort of interesting we are all from Halifax,I guess we are ahead of the rest of North America, ( time zone wise ) but if that was the case someone from Newfoundland should be first. Can you folks tell me how and who the AC dealers are in the area? Thanks,

I just looked at the 2002 brochure today but i didn't notice any specifics, ie. weight, etc. But if anyone has any questions i can answer them by tomorrow b/c i'm supposed to start working part time at the local AC dealership tomorrow. If anyone has a general question about the lineup though, i could probably answer that. BTW, they introduced a lot of new models.

I went to the dealer locator on the AC site, -->http://dealers.arctic-cat.com/search...lts.asp<--- That is all i knew of anyway. i have been to toads but they didnt' have any on display.. and they were closing.. so maybe that was why. They seem to specialise in motorcyles anyway. I was also out to the one in Head of St. Margret's Bay. They were sold right out. Hope this helps.

Hey this is very cool,I don't think I have seen this many people post from the same area ever before. As far as dealers go here is what I have. Stone's RV Sales New Glasgow G.E. Johnson Sales Windsor and High Gear Sports in the Valley, there is also one in Sydney. From my experiance G.E. Johnson sales is by far your best bet, his prices are the best and Eugene the mechanic and sales guy is first rate. The prices at high gear sports are good as well but I can't tell you about service as I have not really had any.

Boner,
I'm taking Andy's place for now, he's having a lot of personal problems so he gonna take some time off. I went to visit today and my aunt offered me the job so being i wasn't doing anything this summer i took it.
I don't know when Joe got back from the show but I know he's back. Maybe I'll see you when you come next week.

Dirtwheels spy pics show a model that clearly has an independant rear suspension. The front grille and lights are upgraded, along with the fenders, but it looks a lot like it always did as far as body structure and racks go. Same speedometer too. Who knows about drive selections and stuff, but hopefully they redesigned the steering a bit as well. I rode a friends 450 the other day, and it felt like it was harder to turn than my AC with 27" tires on. The seat was also like sitting on a rock. Despite whatever Polaris unveils, I think my money will still be on the new Yamaha. Their quads always steer good, and this new one has all the good stuff that Polaris could match. As for power, I wouldn't care if they did put out a 680 twin. The 660 would easily be fast enough.
