Anyone who owns and has tested or anyone who knows... I know the front diff. in the '02 400+ Cats is not the Suzi. front diff. any more. Does anyone know if this is an improvement or unimprovement, or if it is the same technology as the ratcheting cone Suzi. diff.? May help me decide if I want to find an '01 500 or not worry and get an '02. Thanks in advance, Rob

I can't tell any difference, I think it works just like the 01s. The only difference is it much easier to get in & out of gear ( 2wd & 4wd ). It works even sitting still, on my 01a sometimes it could be a pain in the @$$. I will have to say the ride and ground clearance is a lot better also. The reverse lever is an improvement too, if I would quit reaching on the right side for it. All in all I like the 02 better, it is higher geared. It will pass most anything on top end but if you are going to put 28" outlaws 12s all the way around you may wish for a lower gear. It would spin them, but not with the same authority as the lower geared ones. I don't have any trouble with my 27" 589s even in the sticky stuff, but they don't have as much bite.
