I want everyone, includeing non-Arctic Cat owners, to say what what they like about Arctic Cat. I don't care if it's a borowed design, as long as it's on something Arctic Cat made.

500/454 4x4- Very powerful engine, good top speed for a 4wd, comfortable ride, semi-independant suspension keeps all four on the ground better than most bikes, evenly distributed weight leads to better stability on steep hillclimbs, sealed fenderwells, protected battery, full sturdy floorboards with regular style footpegs, strong steel racks that don't hang over too much, Big load capacity, engine that has enough power to pull strong even with 2 passengers, spin on oil filter with easy access, whooz-its, fully lighted gear indicators, warnings, and speedometer, convinient winch mount which also protects radiator, good stock tires whether they are 489s or 495s, low range, start in gear feature, hydraulic discs all the way around, single lever braking- why did I ever doubt it?, mean looking front bumper, brakelight, neat name- ARCTIC CAT!!!!!!!

If you want to know what I like about my quad see Andy's post, except I don't like the look of the 500's front bumper, I like the 400's front bumper beter. Other things that I like are liquid cooling and the fact that it will keep running after you turn it off when the fan kicks on.

Just thought you guys might be interested, that the British Columbia (western Canada) Minstry of Environment's Conservation Service (game wardens) picked the AC500 as the machine to replace the hodge-podge of aging quads they have now (mostly Recons).

Andy, How much did they pay you to say that??hehe just kidding!

Every thing he sais is basically what i would have said except i HATE (on 99 models) Where they put that Fuel on/Reserve/Fuel off switch...Other than that if i could fall in love with any other atv it would be a Arctic Cat 400 (i ride a 500)
