I saw in a magazine where they sell a ski that straps on to the front wheels of an atv. Does this help to go through deeper snow than normal by keeping the front end up or does it just bottom out and spin the back tires anyway??????

Hawleycat,

I've seen those too, and have always wondered "do they really work"...

There is a company that sales a complete system. The make the back hubs into tracks and the fronts into skies. It basically turned the atv into a snow machine and you could go anywhere. I don't remember the name of the company.

actulyy, if you want a sno machine, go to either passbro shops or cabelas, i forgot which site, and get hose skis for the front, then buy the chains for your rear tires, and stud them as well, run them lower than normal pressur, or if you have the money buy a wider rear tire, that would work really good, but im keeping my 4x4 becuase i have money fo rone or another and i need new tires all around, but i have 4x4, almost as good as that i suppose
