If you ride up in the Kellogg/Wallace area i would change the jets to about a 142. I live in boise and ride up around 5000 feet elevation and higher and went to a 140. The milege went way up, almost doubled in fact and the power seemed to come up also. My plug went from black to a nice dark tan. 140 is the smallest jet they have for the 2000 500 auto. Like I said it worked wonders for me. Cost was around $3.oo.

How many gallons to the mile ? My 2001 auto gets around 80 miles to a
tankful.I don't think that I abuse it or ride it exceptionally hard.I
have been thinking of changing the jetting but we use them alot in the
winter and it can get pretty cold up here in Canada.
