Finally viewed a new 500 automatic at the dealer. I was looking for a 500i manual. They had one in a crate in back (so I was told) but none put together yet. The new Cat plastic looks nice... at least they changed the vent system for the auto tranny. I wonder if it can be fitted to my 2000 auto?? The inspection cover looks the same...hmmmm. I may need to check into this if I keep my old machine. The left side mounted shifter looks absolutely cheesy, cheap and plasticy. The rod from the shifter looks like it will be easily bent. Rest of the quad looks nice. Best news was that I was given a price of $5750 for a new 500i manual. May need to sell the auto I have now.
While I was there I looked over the Prairie 650, talk about cheap plasticy looking machine, very unimpressive...looks wise. Also has anyone seen the new seats on the Suzuki Vinsons or whatever they call that thing. The rear section of the seat is absolutely massive. Sucker is easily twice as wide as the Cat seat. Must be made for us fat guys here in Wisconsin.

Hey, I got to take mine out of the crate, and I'll be the first to say that you don't have to put anything together. It's complete. The battery has to be hooked up, its needs a little gas, then a quick inspection and it's ready. Was that price for just the ATV or did it also include winch, tax, and destination charges. Because either you are getting a great price OR they quoted you for the 400i.

Enjoy

The price was just for the 500i manual, tax NOT included . They don't charge for delivery or set up etc...

I checked out the vinson at my dealer. I swung my leg over and plopped down on the seat like I do with my cat, and WHAM. The seat didn't give quite like the cat. For being so large, it could use softer foam, dont ya think Suzuki ;-) That's a great price on the Manual! Jump on it!

Wow then that's a good price. So you should be looking at 400 tax, 69 winch, 5750 ATV total of ~6300 (that's 300 cheaper than mine), GOOD JOB!

Good luck with it, and let us know how things go
