I have a 1989 kawasaki bayou 4 x 4 300 that the shift pedal doesn't want to come back up once you shift down with it. I am wanting to sell it and want to give the prospective buyer an honest assessment of the problem and what it might cost to fix the problem. Anyone out there who can advise?

I have been given a retail price of $1895 and a trade in price of $1245, so with the above problem what would be a fair price? It also has a working electric winch and has been kept indoors...looks good and the motor runs fine.
