02 Carb Vent Tech
#1
Tech Tip:
1: Remove left side pannel
2: Remove vent tube from carb and ATV
3: Both ends will most likely be kinked, cut off both ends so that you only have a good (unkinked) hose.
4:Remove the hose holder from the right side of frame brace & install it in the hole on the left side of the brace with the loop UNDER the brace.
5: Install vent hose on carb then slip it thru the loop holder, cut off excess hose.
6: Look to see that you don't have any bends or kinks.
Note: If you go into very deep water the vent hose will induce water, You can only go as deep as the hose end.

CaTTrax, I have a 02 500i Auto. The Carb. vent tube is a clear orange tinted hose it comes up from the carb., through a hole under the airbox intake, around to the right hand side frame, through a hole near the back of the airbox cover and stops there. No kinks! Is this mod. for all models? Thanks.

All 02 375-500 ACT mods. make sure that you remove the left side pannel and look at the hose, the hose is almost always kinked back from the carb to were it goes up thru the frame brace. Your i mod should be ok. The frame on the ACT is alot closer to the carb.
