AC 375 4x4 or 400i 4x4?

It really depends on what you want and need. These two machines are very similar. If you want more ground clearace, full IRS then go for the 400i.The 400i will do better in mud but the 375 wont squat as much under a load and will provide a more stable feel in off camber situations. The liquid cooling on the 400i vs. the oil/air on the 375 are about equal. It also depends on if you want to shift or if you want an automatic. When I was deciding on what quad to buy I also looked at the 400i and 500i. I choose the 375 because it was an automatic and would benifit me in plowing. I dont really ride in the mud so I wasn't concerned about the ground clearance because the 375's clearance is sufficent. The IRS wasnt a big issue because the ride is almost as good and the ACT is simpler and less things can go break. I couldnt get the 500i because of funds but I am very pleased so far with my 375. I'm sure that whatever one you choose you will be happy.

This boils down to wether you like to shift or not.
The ACT suspension is nearly as good as the "i." I don't think you'd be able to tell the difference in ride quality and the only edge the "i" gives is in clearance. This is countered by more reliable solid axel of the ACT model.
The 375 accelerates good for a Cat, better than the 400act and therefore, probably better than the 400i. No cat accelerates good compared to the competative brands, but then, they're not designed for speed.
So, as I said, it boils down to shifting. If you like the feel of a manual transmission, as I do, then the 400's your ticket. If shifting's a hassle, get the 375.

The others are right about the ride being pretty much identical, but they forget the other added benfit of the Independent suspension. The i models are also the best handling Arctic Cat ATVs to date. Even with there added height, there suspension geometry and 2.5" of added overall width make a huge difference in the overall handling of the ATV. If you don't believe me, just take them for a spin one after the other.
Now personally, I like to shift. So, when you throw in the fact that you get more suspension travel, more ground clearance, sportier handling, and the added intimidation factor that the i models possess (Pull up next to a Foreman 400 rider with a 400i and you will know what I mean) with the manual transmission and you can figure out my choice.
