Does anyone know if this can be started in gear. The 2000 catalog shows this feature on the page with the 400s but they don't say if it applies to all models.

JKB, a (usually) simple modification enables most ATV's to start in gear, if this feature is important to you, whether a stock AC 300 will or not.

Eric Baatz published a procedure for modifying the King Quad to start in any gear, for example.
