Hahahah, it's is good to get the opinions but I'll be happier when I just choose one and go have fun!!! It helps to hear from people who have ridden them both for sure.

Ami, there is a good article in All Terrain Vehicle mag, Mar/Apr. 2002 comparing the Cat 375 to the Suzuki Eiger. They feel that the 375 definitely has too much body roll and side to side movement during turns. Check it out at www.atv-mag.com.
I have nerver ridden a 375, but can vouch for the stability of the 300. The 3 ranges offer you plenty of options as far as power delivery. It will pull heavy loads and also is a nice riding machine. sargenthp summed up the features nicely. I experienced a persistent backfiring problem with my 2000. Ask your dealer about that. The article also mentioned a backfiring problem with the 375. You probably ride at a higher elevation too.
Sometimes I get weary of the shifting on a long ride, that is a personal choice. Their is an aftermarket kit that will convert a 300 to a Honda style electric handlebar shifter. The review I read in an earlier edition of ATV mag. was positive.

It's been kind of difficult as couldn't get a 375 to ride til last week then seemed to like the 300 better for my body size. I'm getting closer though and will keep updated.
