Guys,

Has anyone heard or seen anything on the new 2 up atv, and how it works. I would hate to be trail riding with a rider on the back, unless theve done some major re-engineering on the basic suspension.

Anyone know anything

Thanks

Ken

Try this:

I thought there was more info... I must have it somewhere in this magic box! ATV Action has a little paragraph about it (no real info just them saying don't ride 2-up). Personally I'm very interested in seeing and riding one since I do must of my riding 2-up. The biggest thing needed is an adjustable suspension system and a large seat. Cat and Polaris models seem to be the best suited for 2-up duties although Bomb is making the Traxter Max.

If you go to the connection home page and scroll down to the article about the two new machine from AC you can go in and they tell you a little more about the 2-up AC... It has the FIS unlike the TBX... FYI

Hey Boner,
What do you think about the new engine changes in the 03' Cat? Sounds like it is a whole new animal.

Heck ya I'm interested. I've always been interested. I just wanted to hear someone tell me if they thought the new engine would match up as good as I think it will. I think the new 500 will be awesome, you just can't beat that IRS. But, that 500 DUSE looks awesome and the four wheel drive system on the Polaris is good. I replied over on the Polaris forum about the two: Arctic Cat vs the Sportsman. Hang on this race is headed for the finish and the cat is closing fast.

The 4x works well going up hill, NOT DOWNHILL, and when it engages. Not that there is a problem with engagment but over time they do have problems. That is one of the problems my surveyer friend has had with his, one or both fronts not pulling. Electronic vs. mechanical, the mechanical my not always be as smooth but it is more reliable. Glad to see your looking at AC again. Does your dealer have the '03 500's in? Are you looking at the auto or the manual?
