Well, I took off the right rear tire tonight and found nothing. No marks or any signs of wear anywhere from the axle. I did compress the hand brake and it seemed to make the noise. I think it is the brake pads for the hand brake. I moved them aroung by hand and the noise it made seems to be the noise that I am hearing when I am moving. So I took it out for a spin and tried to see if the noise happened when I applied the brake and I think it went away. So I took off the wheel again and put some of that brake noise stoper goop (just a pea size) on the back of the brake and it seemed to help it. Thanks to all who replied back. Nice to know that there are people like you out there to help instead of bringing it back to the dealer and having them charge me $60.00/hr to find the problem. I will let that stuff sit overnight and see if the noise comes back tomorrow.

Also while you are falling asleeep reading this message, I am due for the 10hr oil change. Let's get real is there any difference in the arctic cat 10W40 oil than any other oil except for the name. Or do you find any one particular oil better than another. I usually use Quaker State or some name brand like that in my cars. Wondering if I can do the same for the machine.

Thanks

I've posted this a couple time now but I have found no evidence of there being any difference between regular auto oil and motorcycle oil. If you do a search in the Honda forum with my name you should come across a topic about oil. In the topic you will find my post with a web address to an oil test explaining auto and motorcycle oil differences or the lack of which. I'd give you the address right except it's on my other computer (at work). Oh yea, I run Castrol GTX 10-40.
Hope this helps...

Of course the dealer wants you to pay $4.95/qt and it takes 4 qts. I will probably got woth the cat oil until the warranty is up then run some other oil in it. Thanks for the input.

I know that I also did my instructions exactly right and it also came out backwards. So much for all that color coding. Be better off just guessing.
