I have a AC 300 4x4, which has been great. It has about 250 miles on it. I have noticed that when the unit is on a slight grade and you let it roll (out of gear with brakes off), if you turn the front wheels the atv stops rolling. It may be normal friction caused by the front universals? Has anyone else experienced this? Does not appear to have any lubricant points on the front diff. that might help. Naturally if its on a steep hill, you better use the brakes. These 4x4s do not roll that easily, would hate to have to push this baby any distance.

No no, not front diff bind, that's from the rear axle being locked type axle, (all normal atv's have locked rear axles) They are forced to scrub the rear tire with the least traction when turning. This matters little in off road enviroments with loose terrain. But on solid ground and backing downhill where most of the weight is holding the rear tires with good traction it causes a signifigant amount of friction...enough to stop an unpowered atv on a slight incline.
