BigJohn,
I am looking at replacing mine this next summer I am sure I will be around the 2k mark by then.
BigDCred,
Is your dad 400 the act or the "I"? One of the clubs I belong too has an "in" with Alpine Power Sports. They lent the club an 03 400I for our last ride. The suspension was super stiff and the power just wasn't snappy. I was just wondering how your dad liked the 400 or if he wishes he had gone with the 500?

Come on guys dont trade them in yet. My 98 454 4x4 has 10,126 miles on it and still runs
as good as day 1. I have had to replace a few things though. The speedometer at 7328,
the battery at 4700, the carb at 7200, the rear shocks at 6000, rear wheelbearings at 9800,
and the tires at 10,000. I went back with the 489AT titans because of the miles I got from
the first set. As for the motor, It does not smoke or use a drop of oil. I am looking forward
to the next 10,000 miles. Our next cat will be a 500i manual. We will of coarse keep our
trusty 454.
