Default Carb problems on bearcat 454

I've got a '96 Bearcat 454 that is running really rich. It fouls plugs all the time. I heard these models suffered this problem. What do you have to do to correct the problem? Did Arctic Cat ever have an update on these models?

My 1997 was rich, although not as bad as your's sounds. I rejetted the carb, changed to a better flowing air filter and opened the air box. Mine still runs rich at idle, but does a lot better while riding. I am going to change the idle jet if that is possible, and see how it does. If you rejet, stay a little on the rich side, to lean can burn the engine.
