96 BEARCAT 454 CDI PROBS?
I AM LOSING VOLTAGE AT MY INGITION COIL INTERMITTENLY, AND RIGHT NOW ALL THE FINGERS ARE POINTING TO THE CDI UNIT, BUT I NOTICED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS FLICKER TOO, WHEN THE VOLTAGE DROPS. NO SHORTS OR BAD CONNECTIONS, ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRICIATED. MAYBE THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR OR STATOR?????????????? THE MACHINE IDLES SOMEWHAT AND ALWAYS STARTS, BUT WILL ONLY RUN GOOD FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES BEFORE IT STARTS POPING AND MISSING, THATS WHEN I MEASURED THE VOLTAGE DROP AT THE COIL. SOMEWHERE ITS DROPPING DOWN TO 40 OR 50 mV WHEN AT IDLE IT SHOULD BE 115mV.

Not sure what it could be... My machine did somewhat of the same thing. I had corroded connections at various points in the harness. Go over the harness with a fine tooth comb and you may find something. Unplug and inspect all connections. I had bad points at the connection up near the CDI. I hope its not your CDI, they are expensive.
