I would like Increased traction BUT i still want decent handling at speed how about Titan 589's? From what i hear they're almost the same tread as stock Grizz 660 but Deeper tread? How do the Vamp's handle... how much more agressive are they?

Im not sure about the 589s I did hear the M/Ts are better than the M/S

I hear they pull good but if youre as serious ridder and want traction go with the Vamps tri claws or outlaws.

The titatns and vamps weigh the same and you get more out of the vamps

The laws in the 26 12 12s weigh 31lbs
the titan 27 11 12 which is the highest they go weigh 32.5
the titan 26 12 12 weighs 33 lbs

the vamps 28 12 12 wiegh 36 lbs

the zillas weigh 26 12 12 34

28 12 12 zillas 40 lbs

the zillas are about 3 lbs per tire heavier

the vamps are the lightest aggresive tire out there i think

hey catkrazy it is not showing now new messages.try it again are email me at rrcolvin1@aol.com. i know the guy that makes gorrilla joints. his shop is about a mile from my office. he has not made any yet for the 500i but would not be a problem. i was going to give him my bust cv so he could get some measurments but the dearlership would not give it back to me. said they had to keep it for 90 days in case arctic cat wants to see it. as far as the grizz. jason (guy who makes grorrilla joints) has one. he said the stock cvs on them our worse than anyother bike. they are week. and it cost more to make them because you have to replace everthing which brings the cost up. just wanted to pass this along

It was so bad I had to use the warn2000 to get out. I never could hang with the Grizz in the really deep stuff with the big laws on the front.
I beg to differ as well. Arctic Cat makes excellent sleds, but when it comes to ATV's they're still a little bit behind. I must admit that Polaris and Yamaha are probably the winners of mudboggin, but Honda can always get the job done too. People should realize that just about every quad is good. The Cat's suspension is great, the engine just needs work in my opinion.

Hi, CatKrazy you were right about DH locker the spider gears are not welded.
The additive my buddy used was from GM it was a friction modifier for limited slip.
I read that amsoil gear lub and Mobil 1 gear lubricant are good for limit slip diffs.
Synthetics might be the way to go. check this out They have a synthetic motorcycle oil and lubs. by Moble1
