I HAVE A 2002 ARCTIC CAT 300 4X4 ALL WITH ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT. I WAS WONDERING WHATS BEST IN THE MUD. PUT IT IN HIHG AND FLY OR STICK IT IN LOW AND GO.

 

There's more to mud riding than simply selecting a gear range.

 

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND IS THE BEST WAY 2 PLAY IN THE MUD

 

I use middle range, second gear most of the time on my 300. But i also have 26" outlaws on my 300 and that make a big difference from stock tires. Playing in the mud is the best way it figure out what works the best for you and the mud you ride in.
