I noticed the other day when I let off the throttle in fifth gear at around 40-45 MPH that the bike would backfire once or twice. This just started as of last week, the bike has 150 miles on it. I also have noticed that at low RPM when I hit the throttle the bike somtimes stumbles a little before grabbing some RPM. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong. The bike is going into the dealer for its 200 mile check-up next week and I am sure the dealer will have the answers, but I like to go prepared.

Regards Jim Bell

Mine did it too 2000 500, If you use the highest octane gass you can and learn how to let off the throttle It will stop the problem

JKB just get your dealer to adjust the valves and check the carb more than likely the problem. Also check your sparkplug.
